APPLICATION
Bonding dental composite restorations to cavity and lesion areas including dentin surfaces
DIRECTIONS FOR USE
1. Clean the tooth surface following the conventional method.
2. Prepare the cavity following the conventional method.
3. Isolate with rubber dam etc following the conventional method.
4. Cap the pulp with calcium hydroxide in areas where the remaining dentin is thin.
5. Application of BeautiBond Bottle
: Dispense adequate amount of BeautiBond on a V-Dish and close the cap immediately after dispensing. Apply
on the entire inner surface of the cavity using a Microtip Fine.
6. Leave undisturbed for 10 sec. Air dry with gentle air for about 3 sec and then dry with stronger air until a thin and
uniform bonding layer is obtained. (In cases where the tooth area being bonded is either mostly or entirely uncut
enamel, apply an etchant on the enamel before application of the adhesive.)
7. Light-cure with a dental curing light unit. Halogen (irradiation wave length: 400-500nm, light intensity: >500mW /cm^2
): 10 sec, LED (irradiation wave length: 440-490nm, light intensity: >1,200mW / cm^2): 5sec.
8. Filling, curing, contouring and polishing of light-cured dental filling composite resin: follow the composite
manufacturer’s directions for use.
