For the Aplicap delivery system, an elongation tip can be used. These elongation tips are especially designed for application in the root canal and may be attached only to RelyX™ Unicem Aplicap capsules. Only RelyX™ Unicem Aplicap capsules have a retention ring in which the elongation tip can lock into place. Firm seating cannot be guaranteed when other capsules (including RelyX™ Unicem Maxicap) are used, posing a risk of the elongation tip popping o during application.
